YAY BRANDON GUTHRIE! Brandon Guthrie, an IT systems administrator, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently.

Nominator Eric Spivack said,
“Brandon is exceptionally supportive in quickly understanding the severity of the issue, diagnosing the underlying cause and connecting with any department who may be able to aid in solving the issue. He listens intently and understands how significant IT problems can be for us at Henrico Virtual Academy.
“One morning, we uncovered that our Teams rosters had reset for almost all of our classes, resulting in our students no longer being able to log into our meetings or engage through the chat. I reached out to Brandon to loop him in and within an hour he had solved it for our entire school. He also helped to ensure that the underlying cause of the system failure had been addressed and put a safeguard in place to make sure it doesn't happen again."
